Youth Ministry

High School Youth Ministry!! – All high school students are invited to join us on Sunday, Nov. 27th, from 6-7:30pm in the Youth Room for our High School Youth Ministry Night!!  Come continue to grow in faith together while sharing snacks, discussions, fun, and community building!!  All high school students are invited and welcome to bring a friend!

"Living Nativity" Christmas Play All Middle School and High School youth who are interested in being a part of this year’s Living Nativity presentation are invited to attend the first practice on Sunday December 4th, after Faith Formation from 7:30-8:15pm in the Youth Room.  We are looking for readers, actors, singers, and a few behind-the-scenes helpers (helping with costumes and stage direction)… there’s a job for everyone!  The first meeting/practice will be on Sunday Dec. 4th from 7:30-8:15; dress rehearsal will be on Sunday Dec. 11th from 7:30-8:30pm, and the presentations for the parish will be on Sunday December 18th at 10:30am and 6:00pm.

Dinner and Ice-Skating – All High School students are invited to join us for a Dinner and Ice-Skating Trip to the RDV Sportsplex Ice Den on Friday Dec. 9th from 5:45pm-10:00pm.  Cost is $13.00 – includes dinner, skate rental, and ice-skating.  Sign up during your RE class, or contact Jennifer Chellberg at the Parish Office by Wednesday Dec. 7th to reserve your spot.

Middle School Fun Wednesday Mark your calendar for our December Middle School Fun Wednesday on Dec. 14th, from 7-8:30pm in the Youth Room!  Join us for food, fun, and fellowship!

Summer Mission Trip – Plans are underway for our 2012 High School Mission Trip - we will be traveling to New Orleans, LA from June 16-23, 2012.  All Nativity parishioners currently in 8th-12th grade are welcome to attend this trip.  A $75 deposit and completed CHWC registration form (available in the Parish Office) are needed to reserve a spot for the trip.  Space is limited and spots are filling quickly.  Contact Jennifer Chellberg if you have any questions or would like more information. 

DONATE YOUR OLD CELL PHONES!: Do you have an old cell phone sitting in your closet, and you don't know what to do with it?  Donate it to the Nativity Youth Ministry, and it will be recycled to raise money towards supporting the youth preparing for their summer mission trip.  Cell phones can be dropped off at the Parish Office, or at any youth ministry activity.

Middle School Youth Ministry for Grades 6-8

Each month, middle school students are invited to various activities at the parish.   We gather in the Youth Room to play games, have a party, work on a service project, or just have some fun together!   Other times, we travel for events such as ice-skating, bowling, or a service project.   Middle School Fun Nights usually take place on the 2nd Wednesday of the month from 7:00 - 8:30 PM in the Nativity Youth Room.  Friends are always welcome.   Watch the bulletin for more details!

High School Youth Ministry for Grades 9-12

High School students are invited to join us throughout the year for many exciting events focused on building community, having fun, and growing in our faith.   Activities include events such as social gatherings at the Parish; trips to concerts, comedy shows, and sporting events; presentations for the Parish, such as the Living Nativity and Living Stations of the Cross; and various other activities.   This is a great time to spend time with your friends at church and to make new friends!
