Organizations
Men's Club
The Men's Club is a service
organization that assists the Pastor in maintaining and advancing the physical
and spiritual well-being of the Parish. The men organize social and outreach
projects that promote fellowship and charity. Some of their activities include
the annual Monte Carlo Night, a monthly parish breakfast, support of a Precious
Blood Mission in Guatemala, and scholarships for graduating seniors. They meet
on the first Thursday of each month in the Parish Center. All men of the
parish are encouraged to consider fraternal participation in works that promote
Christian charity and a love of Christ.
Mothers Group
The Mothers Group of Nativity is a
group of women sharing ideas, time, and talents with each other and the parish
community. The group provides a setting for friendship and support,
meeting once a month. As their Stewardship in the parish, the group plans family
activities such as a Halloween Party, Breakfast with Santa, and the annual
Easter Egg Hunt. Outreach projects such as the Annual BETA Clothing Drive
and Angel Gift Tree at Christmas are also organized by this group. Mothers
of all ages are invited to join.
Ministry of Moms Sharing
This is an
eight-week program which creates an environment where women who share the role
of motherhood can come together for personal and spiritual growth opportunities.
Workshops are held throughout the year for Peer facilitators both at the Parish
and diocesan level for leadership in this program.
Lay Carmelites
The
Nativity Lay Carmelites are a Third Order group dedicated to prayer and is open
to all men and women of the parish. The Carmelites meet the
first Saturday of each month after the 8:30 AM Mass, followed by the Rosary and
"Little Office." Since the Carmelites are a prayer group, a petition box
for your prayers is located in the vestibule by the daily chapel. Place
your petitions in the box, and the Carmelites will pray for them.

Knights of Columbus is a fraternal service organization of men. The Father
Richard J. Lyons Council #5357 Knights are involved in service to the community,
charitable, religious, family, and fraternal activities. Membership is
