2011-2012
Faith Formation opportunities
are provided for
all ages.
Important Note: Parents
of children in the Faith Formation program are asked to attend
the following informational meetings in the parish center:

Sunday, September 18 -
10:15 AM or 6:15 PM – Information meeting for all parents of
children in Sunday Faith Formation.

Sunday, October 2 -
10:15 AM – Information meeting for all
parents of children celebrating sacraments of
Reconciliation and Eucharist.

Sunday, December
4 -
6:00 PM – Information meeting for all
parents of children
preparing to
celebrate the sacrament of Confirmation and
all adults wishing to celebrate the sacrament of
Confirmation.

Preschool
Three and four year old children
grow in their understanding and love of God through stories, songs, games,
and activities. This fun-filled series provides faith experiences for the
child and explores God's gifts of ourselves, creation, family, and our
Church community.
Children must be three years old by
September 1, 2011. Classes are on Sunday mornings
from 8:50-10:00 AM. Refer to the schedule below for class
dates. Parents must walk their child to the
classroom before class and pick up their child after class on
the covered walkway between the Parish Center and the Church.
Grades K-4
Students
in grades Kindergarten - Four learn about their
Catholic faith, the Sacraments, and prayer. Classes are on
Sunday mornings from 10:10 - 11:15 AM. Refer to the
schedule below for class dates. Parents must
drop off and pick up children at the classroom before and after
class.
Grades 5-12
Students in grades five through high school meet on Sunday evenings
at 6:00 PM, beginning with an opening prayer service in church. The evening continues in the classrooms where students learn
about their Catholic faith. Parents are invited to attend
the opening prayer service at 6:00 PM and are asked to return to
pick up their children promptly at 7:30 PM. Class dates are
listed below.
Family Event Sundays*
On the designated Sunday of each month (indicated below by *) our Sunday Faith Formation families
are invited to attend 9:00 AM Mass, followed by a family session and a meal.
This includes all ages from Pre-school through High School.
There are no regular age-level family formation classes
scheduled for the Family Event Sunday, but this is still part of our
Sunday Faith Formation program.
New this Year!
High
School students have the option of attending
Youth Ministry Nights in lieu of Family Event Sundays.
High School students will gather from
6:00 -7:30 pm for icebreakers, snacks,
activities, community building, and discussions
about relevant topics in the lives of teens.

Intergeneration Faith
Formation
Intergenerational Faith
Formation is an opportunity for people of all ages to gather as
community to grow in faith and knowledge. Classes meet the
1st, 3rd, and 5th Wednesdays of each month. The evening begins at
5:30 PM
in the parish center with a simple meal and a family activity.
We participate in an opening
prayer at 6:30 PM followed by break-out
sessions with age-appropriate faith sharing and learning
activities. A closing activity and prayer ends the evening at
8:00 PM.
Intergenerational Faith
Formation is for all ages, from
babies to grandparents. Children must be accompanied by a
parent at each session.
