Adult Faith Formation 2011-2012 Growing in faith is a life-long process that involves learning, sharing, reflecting, praying and doing! This year an exciting array of opportunities is offered, and all adults of the parish are invited. Choose what fits you! Into the Fields Adult Bible Study Intergenerational Faith Formation Why Catholic? Parish Mission Into the Fields "Into the Fields" is a wonderful opportunity to embark on a journey of Spiritual Growth, increase your  knowledge of the Catholic faith, and learn strategies and skills to assist you in sharing your faith in ministry - with your family and in your life beyond the church walls.  This program is ideal for those involved in Religious Education, Youth Ministry, Ministry leadership, and all others who are interested.  We will meet for 10 three-hour sessions on the following Monday evenings:     Into the Fields Schedule Mondays from 6:30 - 9:30 PM September 12 January 9 May 7 October 3 February 6 June 4 November 7 March 5   December 5 April 2   Adult Formation The following formation classes will be held beginning this Fall.  Materials are available at the parish office or at the session. Watch the bulletin for topics and dates.  Sundays from 6:15-7:30 PM Mondays from 9:30-11:00 AM Thursdays at Panera Bread in Heathrow from 7:00-8:00 AM Intergenerational Faith Formation Intergenerational Faith Formation is an opportunity for people of all ages to gather as community to grow in faith and knowledge.  Classes meet the 1st, 3rd, and 5th Wednesdays of each month.  The evening begins at 5:30 PM in the parish center with a simple meal, then moves to an opening prayer at 6:30 PM, an opening talk or activity, then break-out sessions in smaller, age-appropriate faith sharing and learning activities.  A closing activity and prayer ends the evening at 8:00 PM.  Intergenerational Faith Formation is for all ages, from babies to grandparents.  Children must be accompanied by a parent at each session. Why Catholic is an opportunity to meet with a small group of parishioners to learn and grow in your faith. Each group meets for six weeks in the Fall and six weeks in the Spring. A book is provided for this year's topic, "The Creed."  Please watch the bulletin for opportunities to participate in small group.
